CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will return to action at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational on Saturday, April 8. The Golden Grizzlies Invitational will be hosted by Oakland, with field events beginning at 10:30 a.m. and running events slated to start at 11:30 a.m.

Saturday's meet marks the fourth event of the outdoor campaign for the Vikings, with three more meets on the schedule before the 2023 #HLTF Outdoor Championships in early May.

Last time out, the Vikings recorded 12 top-10 finishes at the Bob Kahn Invitational, including a trio of top-five performances from Ariana Coats (3), Hannah Korte (4) and Kiannah Sarver (5) in the 5000 Meter run.

Looking Ahead…
The Vikings will compete at the Cherry Blossom Invite (4/15), Jesse Owens Invite (4/21-22) and Mountaineer Invite (4/29) before taking part in the #HLTF Outdoor Championships (5/5-7) to close out the 2023 outdoor campaign.
