CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will return to action this weekend, participating in the Jesse Owens Invite hosted by Ohio State on Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23.
This weekend's Jesse Owens Invite will mark the sixth meet of the outdoor season for the Vikings, and will be one of two final tune-ups for Cleveland State before the Horizon League Championships in early May.

Last time out the Vikings posted nine top-15 finishes at the Cherry Blossom Invite, led by Zoe Dellaserra with a seventh place showing in the 100 Meter Dash and a 10th place finish in the 200 Meter Dash. Through eight events, the Vikings set nine personal-best marks, including Hannah Korte who ran the second fastest time in program history in the 3000 Meter Run (11:03.18).
Cleveland State will be prepping for the upcoming 2022 Horizon League Outdoor Championships, which will be hosted by Oakland Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8.
