CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will open the month of February at the Akron Invite this weekend, with action taking place on Friday, February 4 and Saturday, February 5.

This weekend's meet will mark the fifth of seven competitions for the Vikings during the indoor campaign.

Fans will be able to follow along throughout the meet with LIVE RESULTS.

This weekend's Akron Invite will mark the first meet of the season for the trio of Brooke Armbruster, Sara Timberlake and Anna Umlauf.

Last time out, the Vikings posted five top-10 finishes at the Hillsdale Wide Track Invitational, including a first-place finish from Dynesty Ervin in the 200 Meter Dash. This marked the second individual event win for Ervin this season, while Zoe Dellaserra made her season debut with a fourth place finish in the 60 Meter Dash and a seventh place finish in the Long Jump.

Horizon League Indoor Championships
The Vikings are just 23 days away from the 2022 Horizon League Indoor Championships starting, with action set for Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27. This year's two-day #HLTF Indoor Championships will be hosted by Youngstown State.
