Cleveland State Track & Field Returns To Action At Hillsdale Wide Track Classic

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will return to action this weekend, participating in the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic on Saturday, January 29.

Saturday's meet will mark the fourth of seven competitions for the Vikings during the indoor campaign, and will mark the final event during the month of January.

Fans will be able to follow along throughout the day with LIVE RESULTS.

Saturday's Hillsdale Wide Track Classic will mark the first meet of the season for sophomore Zoe Dellaserra.

Last time out, the Vikings picked up a pair of individual event wins at the Mastodon Invitational, with Dynesty Ervin placing first in the 200 Meter Dash and Margaret Smith winning the 800 Meter Run. In addition, the Vikings recorded five other top-five finishes in the 5000, 400 and 60 Meter events.

Saturday will mark the fourth meet during the Jason Hudson era, as Hudson took over the reigns of the program back in August. After serving as the head cross country coach since 2018, Hudson was promoted to head coach cross country and track & field prior to the 2021-22 academic year.
