YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team continued their 2021 indoor campaign this weekend, recording six top-10 finishes at the YSU Mid-Major Invitational. 

Cleveland State's top finish came from Savannah Shaver in the Mile Run, as she placed second overall with a time of 5:26.63. Haley Rozeski also posted a top-10 finish in the Mile Run, crossing the finish line in a time of 5:53.04 to place sixth.

Margaret Smith posted Cleveland State's best finish in the 400 Meter Dash, placing sixth with a time of 1:01.20.

The quartet of Zoe Dellaserra, Dynesty Ervin, Allison Pankow, and Tylar Mixon represented Cleveland State in the 4x400 Meter Relay, finishing fourth with a time of 4:18.22. 

Kamryn Sharer and Kaelin Stahl recorded their top-10 finishes in field events for the Vikings, as Sharer placed fifth in the Shot Put (12.23) and Stahl placed seventh in the Pole Vault (3.09).

Freshman Quincy Powers made her collegiate debut at the YSU Mid-Major Invitational, recording a time of 2:58.42 in the 800 Meter Run.

The Vikings will return to action next weekend at the Tiffin Dragon Invitational on Saturday, February 6.
