NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Cleveland State track and field team has been named All-Academic by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2019-20 academic year.
The Vikings finished 2019-20 with a cumulative team GPA of 3.35. Cleveland State was one of 264 teams nationally to earn the honor, while the Vikings were one of seven Horizon League schools to earn a spot on the list.
Individually, 22 Vikings earned a spot on the Cleveland State University Dean's List during the 2019-20 season, including five that earned Dean's List accolades during both the fall and spring semesters.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA Squad List for indoor and/or outdoor track and field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
