COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's tennis team had its two-game win streak snapped on Sunday at Ohio State, as the Buckeyes claimed a 7-0 victory. With the loss, the Vikings fall to 3-6 on the season, while Ohio State moves to 4-2.

Freshman Sarah Galon and senior Paulina Reyes were the only Vikings to win a game in singles play, as Galon dropped a 6-4, 6-0 decision in the No. 1 match. Reyes was downed, 6-1, 6-0, hin her match at No. 3 singles.

"Ohio State just played the bigger points better today," assistant coach David Howell said. "We had a chance to see what playing one of the top teams in the country is like. We kept our spirits up and stayed positive throughout the entire match."

In doubles play, Galon and Morgan Ungerott dropped an 8-1 decision at No. 1, while the other two doubles matches ended at 8-0.

The Vikings return to play on Friday, Feb. 27, at Niagara, before returning home for a Horizon League match against UW-Milwaukee two days later at the River Oaks Racquet Club in Rocky River, Ohio.
