CLEVELAND, Ohio – After closing out the 2024 regular season with a 5-1 Horizon League record, the Cleveland State women's tennis team has clinched the top seed in the upcoming #HLTennis Tournament.

This marks the fourth time that Cleveland State will be playing as the No. 1 seed in the Horizon League Tournament, and the first since 2022.
This year's Horizon League Tournament will take place Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28, and will be hosted at the Schwartz Tennis Center in West Lafayette, Ind.
The top-seeded Vikings will open tournament play with a semifinal contest on Saturday, April 27, playing the winner of the No. 4 Milwaukee/No. 5 Northern Kentucky first round match on Friday, April 26.
The winners of Saturday's semifinal contests will advance to the championship match on Sunday, April 28.
Saturday's appearance in the #HLTennis Tournament will mark the 13th straight trip to the semifinals for the Vikings, and their 17th semifinal appearance in program history.
Cleveland State enters tournament play with a 13-9 overall record this year, and has won seven of its last eight contests.
