INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After helping Cleveland State women's tennis to a 5-2 victory over Youngstown State in last weekend's Horizon League opener, Oihane Vicario and Sima Heren have picked up #HLTennis weekly honors. 

For the fourth time this season Vicario has been named the Singles Player of the Week, while Vicario and Heren earned their second straight Doubles Team of the Week accolade. 

In singles, Vicario notched a 7-5, 6-3 straight-set win at the No. 1 spot against Youngstown State, improving to 7-0 in Horizon League regular season matches over the last two years. In addition, the win also put her at 19-9 overall this year and 11-6 this spring, leading the team in both categories. 

In doubles, Vicario and Heren picked up a 7-6(2) win at the top of the lineup to clinch the doubles point for the Vikings against YSU. This marked just their third match playing as a tandem this season, improving to 3-0 at No. 1 doubles.
