MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - The Cleveland State women's tennis team continued its current roadswing Saturday, dropping a 5-2 contest at West Virginia.
Cleveland State's two points against the Mountaineers came on a pair of singles wins from Oihane Vicario and Sima Heren at the top of the lineup.
Vicario picked up a 7-5, 7-5 victory at No. 1 singles, while Heren earned a 6-3, 6-4 win at the No. 2 spot.
With their wins against West Virginia, Vicario and Heren both improved to a team-best 5-1 this spring, while they now have a team-best 13 wins on the season.
The Vikings will close out the weekend with a neutral site match tomorrow, facing Radford at 9:00 a.m. in Morgantown.
