CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's tennis team will continue its spring slate on the road this weekend, traveling to Ball State on Saturday, January 27 and Dayton on Sunday, January 28.

Last Time Out…
The Vikings picked up a 6-1 victory at Valparaiso to open the spring season, marking the third straight year that they have started the dual match season 1-0. Against Valparaiso, the Vikings earned the doubles point and then picked up five out of six singles wins.

The 2024 Schedule
This weekend's matches will close out the month of January for the Vikings, while they will also close out a three-match roadswing to begin the season. Vicario Closing In On 50 Career Singles Wins
After picking up a three-set win at Valparaiso last weekend, junior Oihane Vicario is just one win shy of 50 for her career. Vicario, who has played her entire career at the top of the singles lineup, would become the third active Viking to reach the milestone and the 19th Viking all-time.

Champions In The Classroom
Earlier this week the Cleveland State Athletic Department recognized 300+ student-athletes that posted a 3.0 grade point average or better during the fall semester, with all eight members of the women's tennis team being honored. In addition, Ella Franz, Filippa Frogner and Tereze Vevere were recognized for being part of the CSU Honors College.
