TOLEDO, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team returned to action Friday, competing at the Toledo Invitational.

Cleveland State picked up four singles wins on the day, with Bethany Yauch, Oihane Vicario, Filippa Frogner, and Ella Franz all notching victories on the first day of the two-day tournament.

Yauch picked up a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0(8) win over Toledo, while Vicario also earned a three-set win with a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0(6) victory over Youngstown State.

Frogner and Franz both picked up their wins against the Penguins, Frogner with a 6-3, 6-2 decision and Franz with a 6-1, 6-2 decision.

Play at the Toledo Invitational will conclude tomorrow, with two rounds of doubles and one round of singles.
