Cleveland State Women’s Tennis Continues Play At Michigan State Invite

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Cleveland State women's tennis team continued play at the Michigan State Invitational Saturday, paced once again by sophomore Tereze Vevere.

For the second straight day, Vevere picked up wins on both the singles and doubles courts, earning both wins against Oakland opponents. In singles, Vevere earned a 6-1, 6-1 win against Aimee Brown, while she teamed with Western Michigan's Kiana Rizzolo to earn a 6-4 victory against the Grizzlies in doubles.

Filippa Frogner also picked up a singles win for the Vikings on Saturday, posting her first victory of the season with a 6-3, 6-1 decision against Chicago State's Sofya Sedovich.

The Vikings will close out action at the Michigan State Invitational tomorrow, with another round of singles and doubles matches.
