MATCH #15
Cleveland State at FGCU
Tuesday, March 15 | 10:00 a.m.

Cleveland State enters Tuesday's match standing at 6-8 overall this season, and will be returning to the courts for the first time since March 5. Tuesday's match will mark the third of four road matches for the Vikings during the month of March, as Cleveland State will play just one match in the friendly confines of the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion during the month (March 23 vs. Niagara).

Entering the week, Oihane Vicario and Bethany Yauch have matching 9-5 singles records this spring to lead the Vikings, while Tereze Vevere has notched seven wins and Sima Heren has recorded six wins during dual match play.

For the season, four Vikings have reached the double-digit win mark, led by Yauch with a 16-9 overall record, while Vicario stands at 15-10 on the year.

In doubles action, Selma Tounsi and Yauch have a team-best 8-5 record this spring, while Sima Heren and Klara Mrcela have posted a 7-4 mark at the top of the lineup.

The Vikings will be closing out a 17-match non-league schedule this month, and will open Horizon League play at the beginning of April. Cleveland State, who was selected to finish third in the highly competitive Horizon League field, will begin #HLTennis play by hosting Oakland on Friday, April 1.
