INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the third time this season, Cleveland State women's tennis freshman Oihane Vicario has been named the Horizon League Singles Player of the Week. 

Vicario picks up her third weekly honor after posting a 2-0 weekend at the top of the singles lineup for the Vikings. 

Vicario opened the weekend with a 7-6(10), 6-4 victory against Buffalo, and then capped off the week with a 6-0, 1-6, 6-0 victory against Bowling Green. 

In her first season of collegiate tennis, Vicario has spent the entire spring campaign playing at No. 1 singles, and is tied for the team-lead with an 8-4 record in dual match play. Overall this season, Vicario owns a 14-9 singles record.

Vicario and the Vikings will return to action with a pair of road matches this weekend, traveling to Butler on Friday, March 4 and Ball State on Saturday, March 5.
