Cleveland State Women’s Tennis Perfect In Singles Play On Final Day Of Eagles Invitational

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Eagles Invitational Saturday, posting a perfect 6-0 record in singles matches, while also earning a doubles win.

All six Vikings earned singles wins on the final day of play, including the quartet of Oihane Vicario, Bethany Yauch, Filippa Frogner, and Sima Heren who finished the weekend with a 2-1 singles record.

Tereze Vevere posted her first collegiate singles win on Saturday, earning a 6-0, 6-7(3), 1-0(10) victory over Rafaela Platisota.

Cleveland State's lone doubles win on the day came from Vevere and Yauch, as the duo picked up a 6-2 victory over a tandem from Findlay.

Cleveland State will now have two weeks off from competition, returning to action at the Viking Invitational (October 15-October 17) – Cleveland State's lone home event of the fall season.
