Last Time Out…

2021 Horizon League Schedule
This year's Horizon League schedule has had a different look to it, as the Vikings are facing the same opponent in back-to-back matches each week. Cleveland State is scheduled to host one more #HLTennis series against Northern Kentucky, while the Vikings are set to travel to IUPUI and Milwaukee throughout the rest of the regular season.

Vikings Sweep #HLTennis Weekly Awards
Earlier this week, the Vikings swept the Horizon League weekly awards, as Miruna Vasilescu was named the Singles Player of the Week and Blanche Lenoan and Kateryna Avram were named the Doubles Team of the Week. This marked the first singles player of the week accolade for the Vikings this season, while it was the second time that Cleveland State has picked up doubles team of the week honors.

Vasilescu Improves To 6-0 In #HLTennis Play
Last weekend, Miruna Vasilescu improved her Horizon League singles record to 6-0 after picking up a pair of straight-set victories against Oakland. Vasilescu, who is the only player to be undefeated in league play at No. 1 singles, owns a team-best 11-2 record this season and is currently on a nine-match win streak.

Avram & Lenoan In Doubles Play
After posting back-to-back wins at No. 2 doubles against Oakland last time out, Kateryna Avram and Blanche Lenoan now stand at 9-4 in doubles play this season, with the nine wins marking a team-high entering this weekend's series at IUPUI. With the two wins last time out, Avram and Lenoan are now tied for 10th on the CSU Team Doubles Wins List with 19 career wins as a tandem, and need just one more win to move into ninth place on the list.

Lenoan Reaches Double-Digit Singles Wins
Last time out, senior Blanche Lenoan extended her current singles win streak to five straight matches, ending the weekend with a 10-3 record on the year. With a pair of three-set wins over Oakland, Lenoan became the second Viking to reach double-digit singles wins this season, and is now 4-2 in Horizon League play.
