Cleveland State University swimming & diving signed Josie Dufala from Erie, Pennsylvania. Dufala swam for Cathedral Preparatory School.

Dufala was a two-time PIAA state qualifier in 2023 & 2024, earning All-State honors in those years. She was a four-time PIAA state medalist and All-State Honorable Mention honoree in 2024. Dufala was also part of the PIAA state championship team in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

On the district side, Dufala was a four-time qualifier, four-time champion, and seven-time medalist.

In the classroom, Dufala was an eight-time honor roll recipient.

Dufala is the daughter of Katie and Greg Dufala and will major in health sciences – pre-physician assistant.
