Cleveland State University swimming & diving welcomed Kaelah Baccus from Toledo, Ohio. Baccus swam for Notre Dame Academy and the Greater Toledo Aquatic Club.

Baccus was a two-time state qualifier and the District Champion in the 50-yard freestyle. She was an All-Ohio recipient and two-time team MVP.

"I chose Cleveland State because I enjoyed my time with the coaches and know I will work well with them. I also love the pool and have always swum fast in it, along with the proximity to the Cleveland Clinic since I want to be a surgeon."

In the classroom, she was named to the Honor Roll every year and was a full IB diploma student.

Baccus is the daughter of Brigid Burke and Eli Baccus and will major in pre-medicine biology.
