Cleveland State University swimming & diving welcomed Eva Smith from Baldwinsville, New York. Smith swam for C.W. Baker High School and the QJS3 Cato Meridian Otters.

Smith was a three-time Sectional winner and Swimmer of the Year. All three trips to states resulted in top-ten finishes.

"I chose Cleveland State because I loved the team culture, and the program has a tremendous history of success. The academics are very good and present me with opportunities for my future success."

Smith was a futures qualifier two years in a row and holds numerous records for her club team.

In the classroom, Smith was named a Scholar-Athlete.

Smith is the daughter of Eric and Jill Smith and will major in psychology.
