Cleveland State Women's Swimming With Two Season-Best Times on Night One of HL Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cleveland State completed the first night of the Horizon League Championships with a pair of season-best times.

"This was the best start to the conference championships since I've become head coach," said Hannah Burandt. "I'm so proud of our team and can't wait for the morning!"

The Vikings opened the meet with a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay as Caroline Hughes, Grace Butcher, Ellie Mckibbin, and Grace Chelf finished in 1:45.54.

The Green and White capped off the evening with a fifth-place finish as well in the 800-yard freestyle relay. Ana Sofia Sousa, Rachel Contich, Mackenzie Lipnick, and Olivia Leonard clocked a 7:32.43.
