CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State University swimming & diving coach Hannah Burandt announced the third addition for the Class of 2023, Audrey Butcher.

Butcher is from Galena, Ohio, and swam at Olentangy Berlin High School. During her time, she was a four-time District qualifier and two-time Ohio State Championships qualifier. Butcher currently holds the school record for the 100-yard backstroke.

"I chose Cleveland State because it was the perfect fit for me! I loved the coaches, academics, and everything the University has to offer."

Outside of the pool, Butcher is a member of the National Honors Society.

Butcher swam for Westerville Aquatic Club and is a futures qualifier.

Butcher plans to major in business and is the daughter of Mike and Wendy Butcher.
