Cleveland State Women's Swimming & Diving Finishes Fifth at Horizon League Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  - The 2022 Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships finished on Saturday evening with the Vikings coming in fifth place with 338.5 points. Oakland claimed the championship with 917 points.

Nightly Recap
Mackenzie Lipnick opened the final night of the championship with a tenth-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle, clocking a 17:30.32.

In the 200-yard backstroke, Lauren Lewis touched the wall in 2:03.65 to place sixth.

Ana Sofia Sousa sprinted to an eighth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking a 52.04.

Kellsie Krisch swam a 2:20.05 in the 200-yard breaststroke to come in fifth place.

In the 200-yard butterfly, Madison Taker touched the wall in 2:05.26 to place fifth.

The 2022 Horizon League Championship ended with the 400-yard freestyle relay as the Vikings placed fifth with the team of Reagan St. Clair, Lauren Lewis, Rachel Contich, and Ana Sofia Sousa, swimming a 3:30.10.
