GAMBIER, Ohio – Not even 24 hours after competing at home, the women's swimming & diving team fell to Kenyon, 243-50 on Saturday afternoon. Cleveland State turned in five runner-up performances on the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brooke Eichel placed second in both diving events, scoring 222.45 in 1-meter and 214.35 in 3-meter.
- Mackenzie Lipnick claimed the runner-up spot in the 1000-yard freestyle, clocking a 10:51.22.
- Rachel Contich took second in the 200-yard freestyle, touching in 1:56.22.
- Lauren Lewis came in second during the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 2:07.75.
CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY PERSONAL-BEST TIMES
- Mackenzie Lipnick in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:51.22).
- Lauren Lewis in the 100-yard backstroke (59.58) and 200-yard backstroke (2:07.75).
- Jordan Stump in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.40).
- Rachel Contich in the 50-yard freestyle (24.96).
- Grace Butcher in the 50-yard freestyle (27.00).
