CSU Softball Rained Out Of First Day At Patriot Classic

FAIRFAX, Va. - The Cleveland State softball game againsthost George Mason in the Patriot Classic was rained out Friday afternoon. The cancelled game will not be re-scheduled.

However, the tournament's three prior games were able to get in before the weather broke In other tournament action, Central Connecticut State defeated Binghamton, 5-3; Stony Brook won over St. Francis (NY),1-0; and Brown defeated Iona, 9-3.

The Patriot Classic continues Saturday, with the Vikings taking on Binghamton at 11 a.m. and Central Connecticut at 3 p.m. George Mason will play Central Connecticut State at 9 a.m. and Binghamton at 3 p.m.
