Amanda Kern is ready for increased responsibility this season. Her speed and versatility makes her a valuable piece in the lineup while her improved performance at the plate will allow her to see time either at first base or as a designated player.

Played in 20 games, including four as a starter...had 10 at-bats, collecting three hits and scored six runs...stole seven bases in eight attempts.
2006 - Freshman Season
Saw action in 40 games as a pinch runner...scored 14 runs and was a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen base attempts.

Honorable mention all-district and second team all-league in 2005...honorable mention all-league selection at shortstop as a junior...three-year letterwinner...led her 2003 USSSA summer team to World Series title, earning a spot on the all-world team...lettered three years in basketball as a forward... earned second team all-league and honorable mention all-district and all-county recognition as a senior.
