Cleveland, OH-The Cleveland State softball team plays host to Kent State for a midweek non-conference matchup. The Vikings take on the Golden Flashes at Viking Field in a game that was announced last week as an additional non-conference opportunity for both teams. The start time from Viking Field has been adjusted to 12:30 p.m. due to the anticipated weather forecast in the area. 

Cleveland State enters the week looking to rebound after dropping two of three at Robert Morris this past weekend. The Vikings collected a 6-2 victory in the final game of the series to take positive momentum into the week.

Following the game against Kent State, Cleveland State will play host to Youngstown State in a pivotal late-season Horizon League series. The Penguins lead the league with a 15-3 overall record. The Vikings are tied for third, four games back. The series has been adjusted to begin on Thursday with a single game starting at 3:00 p.m. with a doubleheader scheduled for Friday with the first game beginning at 2:00 p.m.
