Cleveland, OH-The Cleveland State Softball team hosted its first ever Golf Outing this past week at Mayfair Country Club. The day was incredibly successful, with supporters of the program coming together for a fun filled day of golf followed by a dinner and silent auction. Overall, the day netted over $10,000 in support of the program. 

A special thank you goes out to Grass Master for serving as a champion partner for the event, as well as all the other organizations and individuals who purchased hole sponsorships. 

Team Eric Acord finished in first place with a score of 56. Team Gary Garbaczik finished close behind in second place with a 57. 

The day was capped off with a visit from former college football coaching legend Jim Tressel, who addressed the participants following the day of golf.
