Cleveland State Softball Travels to College of Charleston

Charleston, SC-The Cleveland State softball team is set to play five games this weekend at the College of Charleston Maroon and Gold Challenge. 

This is the third weekend of the season for the Vikings, who are 2-8 so far through the first two weeks of the season. 

Cleveland State will play two games against the host College of Charleston and three against Marist. Games will be broadcast on Flo Softball. 

Jenna Deang has been a bright spot for the Vikings through two weekends. Through 10 games she has hit .323, collecting 10 hits and an RBI. 

The action begins with the Vikings taking on Marist today at noon. CSU will play College of Charleston in the nightcap with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m. 

The Vikings will play two more games tomorrow and then a single game to close the weekend on Sunday. Stay tuned to csuvikings.com for updates throughout the weekend.
