FAIRBORN, Ohio - The Cleveland State softball team dropped its regular season finale, 4-0, at Wright State on Sunday afternoon.
CSU finished the regular season with a 24-18 overall record and an 8-8 mark in the Horizon League, while the Raiders concluded the season at 18-30 overall (13-6 HL).
The Vikings earned the No. 5 seed in this week's Horizon League Championship and will open play against fourth-seeded Youngstown State on Wednesday (May 7) at 1:30 p.m. in Fairborn, Ohio.
CSU was limited to just two hits today, a single by Nena Doran to leadoff the game and a second inning single by Katelind Phillips.
The Raiders scored a pair of runs in the third and two more in the fifth.
