Coach Falor's Comments: "Michelle is one of those special players that seems to get better every time she steps onto the field. As a central midfielder, she's smooth on the ball, clean with her first touch, savvy at finding passing lanes and very capable of placing the ball onto her teammates feet no matter how she has to get it there."
High School: Lettered three time as a member of the boy's soccer team at Christian Community School, playing for coach Brock Walter...started all three seasons, the last two at midfield, helping team to a 46-14-7 record...started as a freshman on the team that went 19-5-2, won the state title and finished fifth nationally...scored 15 goals with 28 assists during her career...missed junior season because of injury..lettered as both a freshman and sophomore in softball, playing both shortstop and catcher.
Personal: Born June 2, 1985 in Westlake, Ohio...daughter of James and Dianne Sanker...has one older sister and one younger brother...active in the choir and ski club in high school...volunteered time helping out in the rehab department of an area hospital while in high school...interested in majoring in nursing.
