Jessica Larsen is remaining a member of the Vikings' women soccer program, this year as an assistant coach. During her senior season, Larsen was co-captain of the squad and was the emotional leader of the forwards and midfielders.

Due to her experience as a co-captain, Falor is looking to Larsen to cultivate leadership on the team and influence the young players on the roster. She will also be working with the defenders.

"She's been a solid contributor both on and off the field for us and will be a wonderful mentor for our emerging team leaders this year, said Falor. "Jessica is high energy and a coach that will be able to give the right kind of push to players when they need a boost."

Larsen played in 15 games for the Vikings last season, getting the starting nod in 11 of them.

Prior to joining the Vikings, Larsen played for two years at Mount Union, earning one letter for the Purple Raiders.

Larsen was a two-time most valuable player at Normanday High, playing for coach John Predina. She lettered four times in both soccer and track and twice in basketball. Larsen earned all-league honors in both the mile and two mile and ran on the relay teams that won district titles in both the 4x400 and 4x800 relays.
