She will have three years of eligibility remaining with the CSU program.

ERICA LEINWEBER | WILLOUGHBY, OHIO | FORWARD | DETROIT MERCY

BIO: Leinweber tied for the team lead in goals with four tallies at Detroit Mercy. She also finished second on the Titans in both assists (three) and points (11) en route to a Horizon League All-Freshman Team selection. She played in all 18 Titan games with 16 starts. Prior to Detriot Mercy, Leinweber was a standout with the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin High School and also played for 11 years with the Cleveland Force Soccer Club.

CHOSE CLEVELAND STATE BECAUSE: "I chose Cleveland State for its well-known criminal justice program and I am especially excited to play for such a great women's soccer program!" – Erica Leinweber

QUOTE FROM COACH: "We are excited to bring Erica home and add her into a group of attacking players that should make us very dynamic this fall. She has legitimate sprinter's speed which we know first-hand was a real issue to deal with having to play against her last year, and that will really open up the field for us having added that additional threat.  It's unique to be able to add someone who has already proven herself at this level with goals and assists last year in the league on her way to earning All-Horizon League Freshman Team honors. It's great to have yet another excellent local player choosing to represent Cleveland and enjoy playing in front of family and friends." - head coach Dallas Boyer
