Cleveland State Women's Soccer Blanks Robert Morris, 2-0

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Vikings blanked Robert Morris 2-0 in their final home game of the 2021 regular season on Saturday afternoon. With the clean sheet, Cleveland State extended their shutout streak to three straight games.

THE GAME
The Vikings got on the board in the 21st minute as Maia Ransom scored off a corner kick that was headed into the middle of the box by Rylee Bussen.

The scoreline remained the same heading into the intermission with Cleveland State holding an 11-6 shots advantage. Each team put three shots on frame while the Green and White had five corner kicks.

Kathryn Ramicone put the finishing touches on the victory, scoring in the 84th minute off a cross from Maddie Young as the Vikings won 2-0.

Cleveland State held a 17-11 advantage in shots and 7-4 shots on goal edge. Corner Kicks favored the home team, 7-3.

Kyla Valaitis notched her third shutout after making four saves. Grace Grant finished with a match-best five shots with three on target.
