INDIANAPOLIS - The women's soccer match between IUPUI and Cleveland State, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 16, has been canceled due to COVID-19 implications. Due to multiple positive cases within the IUPUI program's tier one individuals, the Jaguars were unable to make the trip and compete.
Per League regulations vetted by multiple membership groups and approved by the Horizon League Council, the contest will be considered a forfeit. The match is considered canceled and will not be rescheduled.
Cleveland State will face off against Detroit Mercy on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m. in Detroit.
