Women's Soccer Drops 2-0 Match to Toledo

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State outshot Toledo, but the Rockets used two first half goals to claim a 2-0 victory over the Vikings on Friday night at Krenzler Field.

THE GOALS

  • Toledo's Kelsey Kraft scored just 2:28 into the contest to give the Rockets an early lead. Kraft followed up an initial shot that CSU goalkeeper Jamie Daniels saved.
  • The Rockets extended the lead to 2-0 at the 23:47 mark on Isa Echeverri's second goal of the season.
