BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Cleveland State finished seventh at the Falcon Fall Invitational, posting a school record 328 in Sunday's final round. The 36-hole tournament was hosted by Bowling Green at the 6,097-yard Forrest Creason GC. Western Ontario won the team title with a 637, edging the host Falcons by four shots.

Individually, senior Kristen Obush (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) finished in a tie for fourth with a 157 after holding the lead with a 76 on the first day. Freshman Amanda Gladfelter (Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield) finished just a shot back of Obush in her first collegiate action.

"The fact that we came out and set a school record on the first weekend of the season says a lot about where this team is headed," CSU head coach Tom Porten said. "I thought Amanda really played well in her first tournament."

Western Ontario's Sue Gleeson claimed medallist honors with a 151 (78-73), two shots better than teammate Margaux Ullett.

The Vikings return to action immediately, as they are set to take part in the Butler Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 20-21) at Eagle Creek GC in Indianapolis, Ind.
