Cleveland State Women’s Golf Seventh after Second Round of Horizon League Championship

Howey in the Hills, FL-The Cleveland State women's golf team sits in seventh place after 36 holes at Mission Inn Resort in the Horizon League Championship tournament. The Vikings finished with a two-day total of 85-over par after posting a 47-over par 339 in the second round. High winds made for difficult scoring conditions throughout the day.

Olivia Swain is tied for 23rd individually after a 14-over par 87 on day two. Swain is 20-over par for the tournament. Oakland's Bridget Boczar leads the field at 4-over par through two rounds.

Mandie Ruminski, Brynna Mardis and Kaitlin Kormuth are each tied for 27th at 22-over for the tournament. Ruminski posted an 86 in round two. Mardis carded an 83 which was the lowest round of the day for the Vikings. Kormuth finished her second round with an 84. 

Lola Barnett rounds out the lineup for the Vikings at 26-over par in a tie for 34th. Barnett finished with an 86 on day two.

The third and final round takes place tomorrow morning as the Vikings will once again tee off in the first wave. Cleveland State begins the day with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. off the tenth tee. Live scoring is available on Golfstat throughout the tournament.
