Cleveland State Women’s Golf Concludes Match Play Event

Howey In the Hills, FL-The Cleveland State women's golf team kicked off the Spring 2024 season with a match play event at Mission Inn Resort in Florida.

Mission Inn's El Campeon course will host the Horizon League Women's Golf Championship this spring and the trip served as a tune-up for the Vikings in preparation for the league tournament in April.

The Vikings fell to IUPUI in match play competition 5.5 to 1.5. Kaitlin Kormuth was the lone Viking to pick up a victory, winning her match 4-and-3 over IUPUI's Madeline Pape

Mandie Ruminski earned a half point as she finished all square against IUPUI's Shelby Busker.

The Vikings return to competition on March 18 as Cleveland State hosts the Nevel Meade Invitational in Prospect, KY.
