Cleveland, OH-The Cleveland State women's golf team has assembled its fall schedule, Head Coach Steve Weir announced today. The Vikings will compete in four tournaments starting September 18th.
Cleveland State kicks off the year at the Brittany Kelly Cardinal Classic hosted by Ball State University. The tournament is scheduled for September 18-19.
CSU will next compete in the Roseann Schwartz Invitational hosted by Youngstown State, scheduled for September 23-24. The Vikings are making a return trip to YSU after placing third in the tournament last fall.
The first of two October tournaments will see Cleveland State travel to Eastern Michigan to compete at the Shirley Spork Invitational scheduled for October 2-3. The Vikings close out the fall portion of the schedule with a return trip to Dayton for the Dayton Flyer Invitational. CSU registered a sixth-place finish in the tournament last season. The final event is scheduled for October 16-17.
The Vikings have five returning student-athletes from last year's team that finished third at the Horizon League Championship. The returning five are joined by newcomer Kaitlin Kormuth, a freshman from Solon, OH.
