Westfield, IN-Sabrina Coffman fired a 5-over par round of 77 in the second round of the NCAA Westfield Regional at The Club at Chatham Hills on Tuesday afternoon. Coffman improved by two strokes on her performance in round one, where she finished at 7-over 79.
She sits at 12-over par 156 after 36 holes in 65th place. The third and final round of the tournament is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Coffman started on the back nine for the second straight day and posted a 2-over 38 on her first nine holes.
She carded her first birdie of the day on the 17th hole. She drove the ball down the left side of the fairway and hit the par-5 green in two. Her lag putt finished a few feet short and she made the ensuing putt for a birdie four.
She finished the second nine with six pars and three bogeys for a closing 39. For the week, she has totaled 22 pars through the first 36 holes.
Coffman will start the third and final round on the back nine once again. She will tee off at 8:55 a.m. off the tenth tee. Fans can follow along on Golfstat for live results throughout tomorrow's final round.
