Sabrina Coffman Set to Compete at Wesfield Regional in 2023 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship

Cleveland, OH-Fresh off the first Horizon League individual championship in Cleveland State Women's Golf history, Sabrina Coffman shifts her focus to NCAA Regionals. The NCAA announced the teams and individuals competing in the championship this afternoon. Coffman will compete at the Westfield Regional held at The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield, Indiana on May 8-10. 

The tournament consists of 54 holes of stroke play. The top four individuals and the top two individuals not on a qualifying advancing team earn the right to advance to the NCAA Championship scheduled for May 19-24. 

Coffman earned medalist honors at the Horizon League Championship after carding rounds of 74-73-73. She enters NCAA Regionals having finished first or tied for first in three of her last four events going back to the beginning of April. 

She was named to the all-tournament team at the conclusion of play on Tuesday. Coffman carries a 76.3 scoring average into the tournament and will be making her first appearance at NCAA Regionals. 

She will compete alongside five other individual qualifiers as well as 12 participating teams. Coffman joins Isabella McCauley(Minnesota), Luisamariana Mesone(Minnesota), Carmen Griffiths(Louisville), Sofia Torres(Colorado State), and Lauren Beaudreau(Notre Dame) as the individuals in the field. 

The Club at Chatham Hills features a championship 18-hole layout designed by legendary golf course architect, Pete Dye. The Westfield regional is one of six regional sites across the country.
