Cleveland, OH-Senior Sabrina Coffman has been named the Horizon League Women's Golf Player of the Week, the league announced today. 

Coffman won the EKU Colonel Classic this week with scores of 73-72-72 to defeat a strong field of 93 players. It is Coffman's first win of the season and the first individual title for a Cleveland State player since Madison Butler in 2017. 

Coffman totaled 10 birdies for the 54-hole event including back-to-back birdies on the front nine in the final round which propelled her to even par and into a share of the lead. 

She exceled on the par 3's, leading the field in scoring average at 2.67. Coffman played the par 3 holes in 4-under for the tournament. 

This is Coffman's first weekly award of the season and the first for a CSU player in 2023.
