Cleveland State Men’s and Women’s Golf Set to Tee it Up

Cleveland, OH-The men's and women's golf teams are both in action to start the week. Both teams are competing for the first time in March.

The women's team hosts the Nevel Meade Invitational. Due to weather, the tournament will begin today with a noon shotgun start and will be shortened to 36 holes. The field consists of 13 teams and will be played at Nevel Mead Golf Club in Prospect, Kentucky. The course will play to a par of 72 and will measure 5,953 yards for the tournament. 

The men's team is in North Carolina for the ECU Intercollegiate. The Vikings are one of 16 teams in the field this week. The tournament will be contested at Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, NC. The course will play to a par of 72 and measure 6,830 yards for the tournament. Play gets underway with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning. The Vikings will start on the back nine, with teams teeing off on both nines to start the day.
