Cleveland State Women’s Golf Sixth after Day 2 at Motor City Classic

Orlando, FL-The Cleveland State Women's Golf Team sits in sixth place after the second round of the Motor City Classic at Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, FL. 

The Vikings improved on their overall total from day one, firing a 318 (+30) to finish with a two-day total of 639 (+63). Oakland leads the field at 26-over par through two rounds. 

Individually, Sabrina Coffman is tied for eighth place at 9-over. Coffman shot a 3-over 75 in round two, a round that included two birdies and a closing 37 on the back nine. Coffman has tallied six birdies through two rounds, tied for the second most in the field through 36 holes. 

Mandie Ruminski matched her total from round one, carding a 6-over 78. Ruminski was steady all day, totaling 12 pars and 6 bogeys in her second 18. She closed with a back nine 38 after going out in 40. 

Olivia Swain is tied for 27th at 19 over par after a second round 82. Lexi Knight sits in 32nd place after an 11-over 83 to give her a 23 over par total. Rounding out the Viking lineup, Brynna Mardis is 34th after a second round 86 put her at 28 over par.
