Cleveland State Women’s Golf signs Kaitlin Kormuth

Cleveland State Men's and Women's Golf Coach Steve Weir announced today the signing of Kaitlin Kormuth to the 2022-23 recruiting class. 

Kormuth hails from Solon, Ohio, where she has played for the Solon High School women's golf team the past four years. She is a right-handed player and averaged 36.1 for nine holes and 75.4 for 18 holes her senior year. 

Kormuth was named first team all-conference all four years, and was the Greater Cleveland Conference Player of the Year in 2020 and again in 2022. 

She has two top-15 finishes at the state tournament, finishing as high as 12th in 2020. She was also named Academic All-Ohio as a senior. 

Kormuth is the daughter of Mike and Heather Kormuth, and has three younger siblings: Luke, Madeline and Owen.
