Cleveland State Women’s Golf Closes Out Briar Ridge Invitational

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's golf team finished play at the Briar Ridge Invitational Monday, placing seventh as a team in their second event of the fall campaign. 

For the second straight outing Sabrina Coffman was Cleveland State's top individual finisher, placing T-12 following rounds of 79-74 (153). This marks her second top-15 finish of the season. 

Mandie Ruminski also notched a top-20 individual finish for the Vikings, placing T-19 with a two-round score of 155 (71-84), marking her second top-20 finish of the season. 

Next up for the Vikings was Olivia Swain who finished with rounds of 87-78 (165) to finish T-51, while Lexi Knight carded a total score of 169 (82-87) to finish T-57. 

Brynna Mardis was making her second collegiate appearance this week – but first as part of the team lineup – finishing T-64 with rounds of 85-86 (171).  

The Vikings will now have a few weeks off from competition, returning to the course for the Rocket Classic Invitational on Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11.
