BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's golf team wrapped up action at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational Tuesday, finishing in third place as a team after posting rounds of 307 and 311 during the two-day tournament.
The Vikings were paced by Sabrina Coffman, who finished T2 after posting a second straight round of 72 to finish 2-over for the tournament. During Tuesday's second round, Coffman notched a pair of birdies on the seventh and 18th holes, finishing the week with three total birdies.
Lexi Knight finished T18 as Cleveland State's second scorer, posting a 79 during Tuesday's second round to finish with a 156 on the week.
Next up were Olivia Swain and Abby Blackburn, as Swain finished T22 with a two-round score of 160, while Blackburn finished T26 in her collegiate debut with a 161 for 36 holes.
Kaylin Kline also represented the Vikings at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational, notching a 164 throughout the two-day tournament to finish T29 in her first collegiate outing.
In addition, the duo of Amanda Ruminski (T9 – 152) and Brynna Mardis (T20 – 158) competed as individuals during the week.
Throughout the 36-hole event the Vikings combined for 16 birdies along with one eagle from Ruminski on the 18th hole during Tuesday's second round.
Next up for the Vikings will be the Cardinal Classic on Monday, September 19 and Tuesday, September 20.
