Cleveland State Women's Golf Sits Third After First Round Of Roseann Schwartz Invitational

BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's golf team opened its 2022 fall slate Monday, finishing Round One of the Roseann Schwartz Invitational in third place. 

The Vikings posted a 307 round one score, paced by Sabrina Coffman who sits T3 after a one-over 72. During Monday's opening round, Coffman tallied 11 straight pars before notching her lone birdie on hole 12. 

Lexi Knight and Abby Blackburn both finished day one sitting in the top-20, Knight T14 with a first round score of 77 and Blackburn T17 with a round one score of 78. 

Olivia Swain  (T22) and Kaylin Kline (T33) rounded out Cleveland State's lineup, while Amanda Ruminski (T11) and Brynna Mardis (T22) are both playing as individuals. 

The trio of Knight, Ruminski and Mardis led the way with two birdies on the day, while Coffman, Swain and Blackburn all recorded one.  

The Vikings will close out action at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational tomorrow (Tuesday, September 13) with a shotgun start set for 9:00 a.m.
