DAY ONE RESULTS AND DAY TWO LIVE RESULTS

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's golf team played itself to the top of the leaderboard as the Vikings sit in a tie for third place overall after the opening round of Bowling Green's Dolores Black Invite at the Stone Ridge Golf Club on Saturday.

Sabrina Coffman and Madison Butler paced the group as the two are tied for fourth overall after the opening round of the tournament at 3-over. Coffman finished second in the tournament with 14 pars while Butler was right behind, tied for third with 13 holes of par, respectively. The two also posted one birdie apiece. 

Behind the duo was Meg Rossouw (tied for 23rd at 7-over), Mandie Ruminski (tied for 35th at 9-over) and Olivia Swain (tied for 51st at 12-over) to round out the Vikings scoring attack. Rossouw and Ruminski finished the day tied for ninth with 12 holes of par.

Lexi Knight also competed as an individual and sits in a tie for 14th overall with a +6 performance. Knight finished in a tie for third with 13 pars. 

As a team, Cleveland State was tied for the lead with 57 pars. The group also combined for three birdies.

The Vikings will be back for the final round of the Dolores Black Invite on Sunday. The round tees off with a shotgun start at 10 AM ET. CSU fans and supporters can follow along live with the closing round of the tournament here.
